The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia hosted the Fourth Intergovernmental Biodiversity in Europe Conference in NP Plitvicka jezera, Croatia from Wednesday, 22 to Friday, 24 February 2006 at the Conference Centre in Hotel Jezero.

2. Official opening

The 10th Meeting of the Council of the Pan European Biological and Landscape Diversity Strategy opened on Wednesday, 22 February 2006 at 9:00 am. The Fourth Biodiversity in Europe Conference opened on Wednesday, 22 February 2006 at 3:00 pm.

3. Reception

The Government of the Republic of Croatia held a reception for all participants on Wednesday, 22 February 2006 at 7.00 pm.

4. Optional excursion

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia organized an optional excursion for the participants of the Conference (sightseeing tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, etc.).
